KIMONO LOVE

Me being a “perfectionist”, I am not really excited about this post. Don’t get me wrong tho’: I love my outfit and I got great shots but I feel like my foundation is becoming too red for my skin tone.I swear this detail is killing me as I am writing and looking at the pictures. I guess this is the Fenty Beauty effect, as soon as it comes out, you don’t like your make up products anymore😂. Anyway, we told you guys a post every week this month so I will not take a step back.

“Starting wearing more and going out less” season is around the corner. In fact, we’re less than 15 days away from the end of the summer and I couldn’t let this season pass by without featuring one of the biggest trends: the kimono. This traditional Japanese dress has been redesigned and is taking over our favorite jackets. Patterned with numerous designs, this  piece is everywhere for the guilty pleasure of fashionistas.

WHY WE LOVE IT ?

It comes in different lengths so feel free to choose the one suitable to your taste. Also, it’s a statement on his own; a white tee shirt and a pair of high waisted skinny jeans and you are good to go. Unless like me you like to be more feminine, then a bodycon black dress and some heeled sandals are the perfect match. But there are so many ways to wear them and they are basically wardrobe savers. Out of all the kimonos in my shopping basket, I finally choose this one because of the splits on the sides and the fact that we can roll up the sleeves. It has been on my mind since I saw it on the website and I had that little voice in my head that kept telling me “if you can’t stop thinking about it, buy it”.I finally gave up and I don’t regret a bit. Plus it was already expensive and now it costs $10 more.
