Hello Autumn

Sweaters, boots, falling leaves, beautiful colors, chill temperature and thanksgiving are some of the reasons Fall should be everyone’s favorite. I almost love everything about this season; I mean I can stand the rain but who came up with the pumpkin scented candles ? That is clearly a no for me but I guess to each is own. It’s the last time to enjoy the farmer’s market, a day at the lake, hiking or whatever activity you won’t be able to do in the winter. it’s also the period to step your fashion game up as it’s all about staying stylish while covering up. Scroll down to see how we dress for this season because we have more than one trick up our sleeves and I hope you will find some inspiration.

For this shoot I went with this beautiful sweater. Keeps me warm AND it’s fashion-forward. I went to the mall only to buy my kimono and ended up with that sweater too (can’t keep my word when shopping). I couldn’t resist the little braid details on the side of the sleeves and I might actually get it in pink too.  I paired it with my all time favorite : a pair of jamie jeans from Topshop. I swear guys these are the best jeans ever and completely worth the price. Since my outfit was neutral, I decided to have some statement accessories to add a bit of uniqueness to it: a buckle belt, a pair of fold over fringe boots, this cute beret and a crossbody bag.

What I’m wearing

If you have a crush on checked pants and still don’t know if you should buy it or not, then I don’t think you will have any more doubt by the end of the article and I strongly advise you to click on that “add to cart” button. These new trends reminding of that Scottish style look fly and come in a variety style allowing everyone to find one suiting their taste. As for Megane here, she went with the street style by pairing them with a red jumper that goes well with her bag and the unbeatable pair of Converse. Dressed down or up, checked pants are a must in every fashionista wardrobe.
